Psilocybe Tampanensis Truffles: Steeped in History

Intriguingly known as the "philosopher's stone", the Tampanensis truffle is somewhat of an enigma. First found in Tampa, Florida, it has subsequently been found only once more in the wild—in Mississippi. Like our own Mokum truffle, the Tampanensis is moderately strong and well-suited to both beginners and more experienced users.

The Effects of Tampanensis Truffles

These are moderately potent truffles, but the high has a powerful visual element. Due to this, they're a good choice for users who want a "trippy" experience without losing all touch with reality. Nevertheless, thoughts, sounds, and sensations will all be greatly affected by these truffles too. In fact, as the pseudonym "philospher's stones" might suggest, your thoughts can get very deep and intense on these. If that happens, go with it and see what you might discover.

Tampanensis Truffles: Strength, Dosage, and Use

Given their strength, a low dose for most people will be around 4 or 5 grams. At this point, expect a sense of being "high", but without any distinct characteristics. Moving toward 10 grams, you are likely to experience visual warping and some trippy effects. For many, this will be a comfortable high, striking a balance between exciting and manageable. A whole pack, 15 grams, will produce a powerful psychedelic experience and should be approached with respect and caution.

To ingest them, you can either eat them fresh or make a tea. Making tea will taste nicer and avoid the worst of the nausea. If you opt for tea, ensure you don't put the truffles in boiling water, as this will destroy the psilocybin.

Storage

Our magic truffles come fresh and can be stored for up to two months sealed in the fridge. However, they must be used within two days once opened. Alternatively, you can dry them to store them indefinitely.
